General Summary

We are seeking a responsible and customer-focused individual to join our team as a HOTBOX  Delivery Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering cannabis products to customers in a safe and timely manner, providing exceptional customer service, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compliance with local regulations.

 

Essential Job Functions



 

Product Delivery

  • Safely and efficiently transport HOTBOX products to customers' designated locations in accordance with state and local laws.
  •  Provide exceptional customer service by delivering orders in a friendly and professional manner, answering customer questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
 

Compliance and Documentation

  •  Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including customer signatures and product quantities, in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  •  Follow proper procedures for verifying customer identification and ensuring that deliveries are made to individuals of legal age
  •  Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating the delivery vehicle.
 

Client Communication:

  •  Provide product knowledge and support to clients as needed , addressing inquiries and concerns.
  •  Collect feedback from clients to relay to the management team.

 Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery   schedules, inventory levels, and any issues encountered during deliveries.

 

Brand Representation:

  •  Represent HOTBOX Cannabis Brands professionally in all client interactions.
  •  Participate in promotional events and product demonstrations as needed
  • Keep delivery vehicles clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  •  Assist with additional tasks in the distribution center or retail location as needed, such as packaging orders, restocking inventory, and organizing delivery routes.
  •  Additional responsibilities such as payment pick-ups may be included as needed. All cash handling processes that  come with it must be strictly adhered to.


 

Team Collaboration:

  •   Work with the distribution leadership  team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Support team initiatives and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
 

Account Management Support:

  •  Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, fostering strong relationships.
  •  Assist clients with inventory management and order placement.


 

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  •  Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  •  Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and safe driving practices.
  •  Familiarity with cannabis products and the regulations governing their delivery.
  •  Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  •  Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  •  Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  •  Ability to pass a background check and drug screening in compliance with state regulations.
  •  Previous experience in delivery or transportation preferred.
  •  Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, up to 50 pounds, on a regular basis.
  •  Comfortable spending extended periods driving and navigating various delivery routes.
  •  Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age


 

Employee Conduct

 

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Repetitive walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping as required
  • Ability to carry boxes, products, and other necessary facility related items
  • Ability to safely lift boxes up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs intermittently
 

Expected hours of work

 
  • This is a full-time position 
  • Weekend and holidays are expected to be worked 
  • Typical work days and hours are between Monday - Friday  6:30a.m. to 5:30 pm 
  • Schedules are subject to change
